Update on the Chamber’s Top Priorities
The Senate passed SB 6, the COVID liability protections bill by a vote of 29-1.
The Senate also passed SB14, which would restrict local governments from imposing employment benefits and policies, by a vote of 19-12.
Additionally, the Senate also passed SB10, which would prohibit local governments from using taxpayer funds to hire lobbyists.
The House passed HB 5, a major initiative by Rep. Trent Ashby relating to the expansion of broadband services. HB5 has been referred to the Senate Transportation Committee which has a public hearing set for tomorrow.
